Strategic Communications Group Client Kristin Bockius to Speak at BtoB Interactive Marketing Event

What: Microsoft’s state and local government customers face several challenges: a down economy, shifting government mandates and regulatory requirements, and the pressures of constituents who want expanded services while tax bases are shrinking.

Looking to reach this niche community with a message on how state and local governments could derive additional value from the technologies that they already own, Microsoft launched the Bright Side of Government integrated social media program to develop a community for customers to share best practices to work more effectively and efficiently.

As the driving force behind this integrated social media campaign, Kristin Bockius, Microsoft’s US State and Local Government Relationship and Social Media Marketing Manager, is uniquely qualified to discuss the benefits of integrating social media into an organization’s larger public relations and marketing strategy.
