For nearly 15 years, Strategic Communications Group (Strategic) has been one of the top regionally-based public relations firms focused on working with clients in the technology, software, telecom and security markets. During the past two years we successfully integrated social media and digital PR into our portfolio, and now provide these services to a mix of clients, including one of the largest telecommunications carriers and one of the largest global software companies.
We have an opening for a top-drawer PR professional to join our senior team to work with a set of publicly-traded and private equity-backed clients in the technology and healthcare markets.
Responsibilities
- strategy development, tactical execution and client management for integrated public relations and social media engagements
- professional development and mentoring of senior associate and associate level staff
- support the sales team in business development activities through participation in pitch meetings
- promotion of the agency through industry networking and engagement in social media

Qualifications
- at least 8 years of public relations experience in a corporate communications and/or PR firm environment
- passion for healthcare, technology, telecom, software and/or security markets
- experience in both traditional PR and social media
